WHAT: Tulsa FreedomFest
WHERE: River Parks near the 21st Street Bridge
WHEN: July 4, 2009 – Entertainment begins at 5:00 PM – Fireworks launch at 9:30 PM

Tulsa OK (Saturday, July 4, 2009) – ONEOK, River Parks, and Tulsa Parks will host Tulsa FreedomFest adjacent to River Parks and Veterans Park near the 21st Street Bridge. Crowds in excess of 80,000 are anticipated to attend and enjoy this Tulsa Community Celebration. Entertainment begins at 5:00 PM and the Fireworks launch at 9:30 PM. Street Closure: The 21st Street Bridge and streets adjacent to Veterans Park will be closed from 11:00 AM to Midnight. Riverside Drive between Southwest Boulevard and 31st Street and the 21st Street and Olympia Avenue Neighborhood will be closed from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. See the attached map.

Fireworks and Parking Enforcement: Individuals discharging fireworks are subject to fines and confiscation for public safety. Vehicles parked illegally will be subject to fines and tow to maintain unobstructed normal movement of traffic.

Drivers who are not coming to watch or participate in this event should avoid this area.
